Motorola pagers: programming information
All Motorola pagers can be dealer programmed for at least some characteristics. Earlier pagers were restricted to programming baud rate, cap code(s) and some wake-up message. Most current Motorola pagers can be dealer programmed for frequency, baud rate, cap code, wake-up and some canned messages. The new Minitor receivers can be programmed for virtually all of their functions.
As a dealer or paging carrier, you can save money and be assured faster delivery if you self-program pagers you order from us.

At this time, all but the LS350, LS355, LS550 and LS750 require you to have an NLN3548 Universal Computer Kit to program any pager. In addition, you will require pager specific software and a programming cradle for each model of pager to be programmed. Some pager models share programming cradles, for example Advisor Gold and Advisor Pro share a cradle, Encore, Pro Encore and Bravo LX/FLX share a cradle and Bravo Plus and Lifestyle Plus share a cradle. Once you have a cradle, you need only buy the additional software required. Creatalink software also works with and requires the NLN3548 Universal Computer Kit.
Note that older Bravo and Lifestyle pagers (no clock on the display) use a special, stand alone programmer NLN3163.
LS series pagers (except the LS355) are Infrared (IR) programmable and require an IR 'eye' which is part of the COMPLETE KIT. Once you have the 'eye', you need only software as new models are added. The LS355 requires a serial cable for programming.
The advanced messaging pagers Pagewriter2000, PF1500 and LS950v have no dealer available programming kits currently available.
